Abstract(s)
AbstractLanguage
This dataset includes the data for liquid sulfur density and viscosity. Both properties were measured at the constant pressure of 90 bar, the pressure of the atmosphere of Venus at its surface. A proton microscope at GSI (PRIOR-II) and an X-ray radiography setup at Ghent University (HECTOR) were used for these measurements.

Description(s)
DescriptionLanguage
Ball_Velocity_Proton_radiography.txt
First column is proton shot number, second is a falling velocity of the ball, third is sulfur temperature.

PIDr_202203031145.csv includes the data for the PID-regulator from the Proton Radiography experiment. The second column includes shot numbers, the third column -- adjusted temperatures (in Celsius), and the last two columns are two temperature values according to thermocouples (in Celsius).

Ball_Velocity_X-rays.txt
First column is sulfur temperature (in Celsius), according to the thermocouple, second column is a falling velocity of the ball (in mm/s).

Sulfur_Viscosity_X-rays.txt
First column is sulfur temperature (in Celsius), according to the thermocouple, second column is sulfur viscosity (in Pa*s).

Sulfur_Densities_X-rays.xlsx
First column is temperatures (in Celsius) correlated to the second column
Second column is density change (in percent), calculated by surface position.
Third column is temperature (in Celsius) correlated to the last column.
Fourth column is density change (in percent), calculated by X-rays intensity change.

Pr_Timing.txt is temporal data for the proton radiography experiment.
First column is shot number, the second one is temperature calculated via the outer thermocouple (in Celsius), the third column is an actual time (hours, minutes and seconds), and the fourth column is difference between the two temporal marks in seconds.

X-rays_timing.txt is temporal data for the x-rays experiment.
First column is temperature calculated via the outer thermocouple (in Celsius), the rest is actual time: second column is hours, third one is minutes and the last one is seconds.

Calibration_Timing_1.txt is data used for temperature calibration and correction.
First column is timestamp (in minutes). Second and third columns are the heating process (the timing coincides with the X-ray experiment), fourth and fifth columns are the cooling process (the timing coincides with the proton experiment). Second column is temperature is calculated via the outer thermocouple (in Celsius), the third column is temperature showed by pyrometer (in Celsius), the fourth column is temperature is calculated via the outer thermocouple (in Celsius), the fifth column is temperature showed by pyrometer (in Celsius)

Calibration_Timing_2.txt is data used for temperature calibration and correction.
First table: first column is temperature (in Celsius) according to the thermocouple, that was located in the brass heater holders, second column is temperature (in Celsius) according to the IR pyrometer, pointed at the center of the titanium tube, last column is time stamps.
Second table: first column is temperature (in Celsius) according to the thermocouple, that was located in the brass heater holders, second column is temperature (in Celsius) according to the thermocouple, that was located in bottom of the titanium tube, third column is the temperature (in Celsius) according to the IR pyrometer, pointed at the center of the titanium tube, last column is time stamps.
